About the Book

It was so hard to build this blurp, I must have written and deleted about many times. That is just how dynamic and broad the book is. So this is what I finally came up with. Lesego & PakisoTwo intelligent and loving people who are pulled apart and pushed against each other by the cultural beliefs which state that women who cannot conceive are worthless and need to be replaced as wives. We see polygamy being force on Pakiso even though he is content and happy with his wife. We see how greed motivates people to do horrible things and finally how the love and support of family and friends can heal the worst of hurts.Alley & DerrickThese two lovebirds were meant to be together, they understand each other on a level beyond the physical. They teach us about temptation and insecurity. Because of Derrick's brush with temptation, he finally understands his wife. He finally sees how he had misconstrued her feelings by refusing to walk in her shoes. Alley thinks she is losing her husband so she decides that breaking out of her prison of insecurity and losing her timid shell are all worth it to make her husband happy. It is a long road for both of them but it is one worth taking.Nqobani & EdmondOur gay couple face the disapproval of families, chosen wives, secrete scandals that all threaten to keep them apart. With these two, it was passion at first sight and love on the second date. Their happiness depends on them overcoming these scary obstacles and more than their friends and family, they need each other to win. Never have you seen a love so pure before these two...Amita & ChadThese two introduce us to inter racial coupling, religious beliefs and family blending. They also introduce us to woman and child abuse. Chad is magnificent in the way he protects and loves Amita and the twins. He makes her feel safe and secure in herself so she is able to fight what she calls her own battles. Chad brought healing for them and they killed his loneliness. Divorce does not make you a failure and there is life still after that. Abuse should not be tolerated and the victim should never blame him/herself.Jessie & Eun Dae GuOur girl has been looking for love and acceptance in all the wrong places, but when she finds it she struggles to accept it. She has so many reasons why they should not be together but has no reason why they should. She struggles to accept her heart and her feelings. Thank God for hormones. This Oppa (Sweetheart) is amazing also coming from a failed arranged marriage, he was miserable and wallowing in betrayal and pain instead of moving on. When he first met Jessie it was instant nothing hurt anymore in fact he couldn't even remember why he was holding on to his pain. These two have some big decisions to make and only the right ones will make their ending blissful.Through them, we experience some of the biggest problems we all face, the prejudices we all have to go through. We see how society has such a big impact on people's lives and not necessarily in a good way. 30s, 40s, 50s, etc it doesn't matter which age group you fall in all those years are challenging the best we can do is find a good bottle of wine and enjoy the hide. Here's to 30 Somethingz...
