It is an precarious thriller written at a time when Venus was still doubted to only show one hemisphere to the Sun and Venusian life was still regard to be possible. The heroes of this, were in the middle of the cosmos, they were amazed when they saw the Earth. He is the first to take edge to the power of inter-atomic energy, which allows him to steer the Ocean of Ether and sale to the beaches of another world than ours. He builds a curious spool-shaped machine  and sets sail into space, arriving with his companion on the planet Venus. Courageous travellers from each journey to the planet Venus, which always has one side facing the Sun. The night side is a frozen polar wasteland occupied by Neanderthal like humanoids, while the light side has an advanced, Greco-Roman classical type civilization. This is a tour to Venus on a craft that can travel a superb speed and is charged by something that sounds perhaps nuclear.
  • Astronomy with an Opera Glass : Garrett  Putnam Serviss  was an American astronomer and science fiction writer. His writing creates people's  interest in astronomy. Opera-glass has given us clear vision for astronomy and makes us well acquaintance with the stars.  Galileo made his discoveries possible with the opera-glass help.  Although it has low magnifying power but it's brilliant illumination of objects looked at is still valuable. He has given a picturesque description of the winter constellation. In which Orion is the prominent, in the east there is Pleiades above the northeast horizon the most beautiful star Capella flashes. Fiery red star Aldebaran looks like the eye of the angry bull. Taurus rises behind the horizon and finally a beautiful v-shaped cluster Hyades appears. The author has attempted to inspire the study of the heavenly bodies by pointing out some of the interesting and amazing phenomena of the universe that are visible with little or no help from optical instruments, and indicating means of becoming informed with the constellations and the planets.
  • 'Edison's Conquest of Mars' was printed in 1898 as a subsequence to H.G.Wells's 'The War of the Worlds'. This book consist of the first space battle to ever show in print. It is the first alien kidnapping story. It has asteroid mining and the first truly useful  spacesuits. Serviss acquire the collaboration of the famous innovator Thomas Edison and invented a totally different and amazing tale of humans conquering Mars.
