Die 14 Erzählungen erstrecken sich auf die diversen ersten Erfahrungen des Fritz Willer in seiner Zeit als Jugendlicher und Erwachsener zwischen dem 16. und 40. Lebensjahr. Die Episoden weisen einen strukturierenden Zusammenhang auf, der sich aus seiner Charakteristik als verwegener Wagehals und als zaudernder Genießer ergibt. Fritz - als Autor und Ich-Erzähler fungierend - will sich und das Phänomen 'Mädchen' entdecken, möchte dabei keine Enttäuschung verursachen und zugleich ein fast reines Gewissen behalten. An den Anfang wurde ein Erlebnis gestellt, das im zeitlichen Ablauf seiner Entwicklung an die 13. Position der 14 Berichte gehörte, aber als Einstieg schon sein volles Persönlichkeitsbild aufzeigen soll, welches dann in sukzessiver Entwicklung dargelegt wird; spezifisch anhand erotischer Erlebnisse. Letztlich wird vom Verfasser beabsichtigt, den Konflikt zwischen biologischen und psychischen Bedürfnissen gegenüber anerzogenen und naturgegebenen Tabus aufzuweisen. Der Autor will eine Identifikation mit schlichter biografischer Berichterstattung vermeiden und bringt seinen jüngeren Freund und Fachkollegen Fritz Willer als Ich-Erzähler ein. Die sprachliche Präsentierung enthält sowohl die Entwicklung der Begegnung des unerfahrenen und schüchternen Jugendlichen und des älteren Zauderers mit Frauen als auch die Problematisierung des Vordringens in jene Bereiche, in denen sich Erotik und Sexualität sowie Wertungen nahekommen, aber nie in irgendeine anstößige, peinliche Beschreibung münden. Die Hauptperson ist keineswegs nur Typ, sondern glaubhafte Person eigener Individualität. Die Titel der einzelnen Erzählungen sind bewusst harmlos gehalten und führen vom Äußeren zur innerlichen Betroffenheit. Manchmal ereignet sich Unerwartetes. Der Leser wird, sich gelegentlich distanzierend zur Hauptfigur, auch schmunzeln können.
About the Author: Dr. Friedrich Wambsganz ist 1945 in Peißenberg geboren, hat nach dem Germanistik- und Theologiestudium an der LMU München 37 Jahre am Gymnasium Weilheim Deutsch- und Religionsunterricht erteilt, hatte sich nach dem Abitur in Weilheim - parallel zu Studium und Beruf - 15 Jahre im öffentlichen Leben betätigt (u.a. Kreisrat). Er hielt 2010 bis 2017 an der Münchner Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, am Lehrstuhl Religionspädagogik, Seminare zum Thema "Religion in Literatur" (zu Thomas Mann, Hermann Hesse, Bertolt Brecht, Max Frisch) und in der Germanistik (Thomas Mann, Alfred Döblin, Theodor Fontane) ab. Er ist Autor von drei literaturwissenschaftlichen und zwei bibeltheologischen Werken sowie einem Gedichtband, dazu eines Buches mit politischen und theologischen Essays (ergänzt mit politischer Lyrik) und eines Bandes mit 14 biografischen Kurzgeschichten. Dissertation 1998 über Alfred Döblin.
