Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Germanistik, Note: 1,0, Universität Potsdam (Institut für Germanistik), Veranstaltung: Literaturdidaktik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit soll untersuchen, welche Funktion Kenntnissen beim Erwerb von Kompetenz zukommt. Im Fokus steht dabei die literarische Kompetenz. Sie wird neben anderen Kompetenzen in vielen Prüfungen zum mittleren Schulabschluss direkt oder indirekt abgefordert. Dies führt zur Konzentration der Untersuchung auf die letzten Jahrgangsstufen der Sekundarstufe I. Die Auswahl des Genres Kurzgeschichte legitimiert sich dadurch, dass sie in diesen Jahrgangsstufen häufig Unterrichtsgegenstand ist und auch in den Prüfungen für den Mittleren Schulabschluss präsent scheint. Daraus ergibt sich die Frage, welche Kenntnisse zum Genre Kurzgeschichte dem Schüler zu Verfügung stehen sollten, um gegenstandsgerecht, damit also literarisch kompetent, mit Kurzgeschichten umgehen zu können. In einem ersten Schritt der Untersuchung muss natürlich zuerst einmal der Begriff der Kompetenz näher bestimmt werden, hier konkurrieren mehrere Konzepte miteinander. Maßgeblich scheinen hier die Untersuchungen von Weinert zu sein, die nachfolgend besonders wirkmächtig wurden. In einem weiteren Schritt wird dann zu untersuchen sein, welche Auswirkungen Weinerts Bestimmung des Kompetenzbegriff für die nachfolgende Entwicklung der nationalen Bildungsstandards hatten. Hier liegt die von der Expertengruppe um Eckhard Klieme im Auftrag für die Kultusministerkonferenz und das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung erarbeitete und 2003 vorgestellte Expertise zu Grunde. Des weiteren werden weitere mögliche Kandidaten für ein adäquates Kompetenzmodell aus dem Bereich Lesen untersucht werden müssen, um zu überprüfen, inwiefern mit diesen literarische Kompetenz erfasst wird und welche Funktion Kenntnissen bei der Entwicklung der Kompetenz beigemessen wird.
