Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Allgemeine Didaktik, Erziehungsziele, Methoden, Note: 1,3, Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit ist eine schriftliche Ausarbeitung eines Referats über den Umgang mit Bildern im Philosophieunterricht. Dabei wird der Text "Bilder zeigen den ganzen Menschen" von Brigitte Wiesen vorgestellt, der als ein Kapitel des Buches "Anschaulich Philosophieren", herausgegeben von Barbara Brüning und Ekkehard Martens, veröffentlicht wurde. Dieses Referat wird folgend noch einmal detailliert wiedergegeben, ergänzt durch Bildbeschreibungen zu den von Wiesen genannten Beispielbildern, auf welche sie allerdings selbst nicht weiter eingegangen ist, nachdem drei weitere Stellungnahmen der Philosophiedidaktiker Volker Pfeifer, Bernd Rolf und Stefan Maeger zu der Frage: "Was für eine Bedeutung haben Bilder im Philosophie- und Ethikunterricht der Oberstufe?" aus einem Interview der Zeitschrift "Information Philosophie" vorgestellt wurden. Im Anschluss an die Ausarbeitung des Texts Wiesens werde ich diesem ein anderes Buch gegenüberstellen und zwar das Werk "Bilder im Unterricht -100 Schreib-und Sprechanlässe" von Inga Piel, in welchem die Autorin eine Reihe an Möglichkeiten zum Einsatz von Bildern im Unterricht vorstellt. Dazu wurde pro Kapitel je ein Arbeitsauftrag ausgewählt, der sich gut in den Philosophieunterricht einbringen lassen würde. Zum Ende dieser Arbeit werde ich, abgesehen von dieser Begründung, durch die einzelnen Stellungnahmen aller Autoren beziehungsweise Fachdidaktiker erläutern können, welche Möglichkeiten sich heutzutage durch die Arbeit mit Bildern im Unterricht eröffnen und was ihre heutige Notwendigkeit zur Folge trägt. Außerdem werde ich den Text Wiesens kritisch dem Werk Piels gegenüberstellen, Vor und Nachteile abwägen und anschließend ein eigenes Urteil formulieren.
