Bekanntlich verbindet sie nicht nur bestimmte Schriftzeichen und Laute, sondern ist auch die Verbindung zwischen verschiedenen Menschen. Während die spanische Sprache weltweit an Bedeutung gewinnt, erlebt auch die spanische Schuldidaktik einen Aufstieg: Die Kompetenz Sprechen tritt deutlich in den Vordergrund und wird in Bildungsstätten als Prüfungsform anerkannt. Innerhalb des deutschen Bildungssystems wächst das Interesse am Spanischen als Schulfach (2.). Diese Kompetenz blieb im Fremdsprachenunterricht über viele Jahre lang eher unbeachtet. Somit weist Sprechen als komplexe Fertigkeit gewisse Herausforderungen auf. Aus diesem Grund thematisiert die folgende Arbeit, welche Hürden Fremdsprachenlerner zu überwinden haben und ob durch die bevorstehenden Schwierigkeiten gewisse Vorteile erzielt werden können (2.1). Welche Rolle die Lehrkraft dabei hat, wird näher untersucht. Dabei stehen diese Fragen im Vordergrund: Stehen Lehrerinnen und Lehrern die Mittel zur Verfügung, wie sie durch Methoden oder Arbeitsaktivitäten Spanisch als gängige Kommunikationssprache im Unterricht anwenden können? Im Fokus steht die Förderung der Mündlichkeit des Einzelnen (2.2). Darauf aufbauend wird ein von Plikat entworfenes Drei-Säulen-Modell vorgestellt, das sich explizit mit der Förderung der Mündlichkeit im Unterricht beschäftigt (2.3). Daran schließen sich mündliche Leistungsmessungen an: Welchen Stellenwert haben mündliche Prüfungen? Es stellt sich heraus, dass diese Art der Leistungsprüfung ebenfalls mit Komplexität verbunden ist (3.).
