Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Philosophie der Antike, Note: 2.0, Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg (Philosophisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Aristoteles Politik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ich werde mich in der folgenden Schrift mit der Frage nach der Rolle der Sprache im politischen Handeln beschäftigen. Um genauer zu sein: die Rolle, die Sprache innerhalb eines Staatsgefüges einnimmt. Hierzu werde ich an die aristotelischen Überlegungen über die Politik anknüpfen, insbesondere an seine Thesen über das Wesen des Menschen als politisches Lebewesen, was ihn zu einem solchen macht und warum der Mensch in einem höheren Maße ein politisches Lebewesen ist als andere. Aus diesen Thesen des Aristoteles ergibt sich die Notwendigkeit für den Menschen als politisches Lebewesen in der Polis zu leben, um sich zum Besten zu entwickeln. Hier werde ich untersuchen, wie sich der Mensch in der Polis entfaltet und warum ihm diese Entfaltung nur im Rahmen der Polis gelingen kann. Damit soll auch der Übergang zum zweiten Kapitel geschaffen werden, in dem ich die eigentliche Rolle der Sprache im etablierten politischen Alltag des klassischen Athens untersuchen werde. Hierfür ist es notwendig die Strukturen des Staates zu untersuchen, um die Partizipationsmöglichkeiten des Bürgers herauszuarbeiten. Zum Schluss werde ich das Aufkommen der Redekunst untersuchen. Dies unter dem Blick des Bedarfs nach einer Methode um die politische Partizipation zu optimieren. Ich werde kurz auf Rhetorik des Aristoteles eingehen, die eines der bekanntesten Rhetorik Lehrbücher seiner Zeit war. An dem Beispiel der politischen Rede werde ich kurz seine Klassifikation der Redegattungen darstellen. Die Frage die den Anstoß zu dieser Arbeit gibt, ist die nach dem Einfluss der Sprache bei der Staatengründung. Obwohl der Augenblick der Staatsgenese sehr schwer nachzuvollziehen ist und in diesem Papier auch nicht ausgearbeitet werden kann, kann dennoch gesagt werden, dass es
