About the Book

All individuals, communities, organizations, and nations depend on human physical health. Physical well-being or physical health is the natural state of the human body. What this natural state is and how to maintain it is not known by the majority of the people. Sickness is an intruder and is a dis ease or deviation from the natural state of health. What causes this and how to avoid it is equally not Known. The human body has inbuilt mechanisms to maintain this natural state and to restore it back when it is lost if only the person knows how to assist the body. All human beings are born to be healthy and enjoy life to the full. The problem is ignorance of the vital physical health knowledge and practices to achieve this. The sickness industry is producing disease Managers for the 20% of those who get sick in the world while leaving 80% of those who are physically health un attended to only waiting for them to be sick in order to access health services. This strategy no matter how long it is practiced and refined cannot ever end sickness. It will only encourage it and make mankind helpless and dependent upon the sickness industry. What the 80% of humanity need is knowledge and practices that helps to maintain physical health which all human beings need in order to live. This knowledge and the practices are available, accessible and affordable to all peoples of the world regardless of their educational or financial status. The problem is that this knowledge and these practices are not coherently taught in the school systems of the world. This book brings this knowledge and these practices for maintaining physical health to all humanity. The adoption of these principles and practices will enable mankind enjoy true physical wellness that increase human performance and productivity. The wellness institutions, products, and services suggested in the book will bring in a wellness industry that will eclipse the sickness industry. Reading this book and acquiring training in its content will develop capacity for one to be a Healthlife Educator for learning institutions and Organizations
About the Author: Born in Zambia in 1961, the author has a Diploma in Clinical Medical Sciences (DCMS), a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (BSc HB), a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB), a Masters in Public Health (MPH) and a postgraduate Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Registrar (MMed (O&G)I training from the University of Zambia (UNZA). Dr Munachitombwe - Muna moved to the Kingdom of Swaziland in late 2000. In the course of his clinical work the author became aware that the reactive approach of medical and nursing practice cannot control let alone end sickness. He recognised that from 1981 the world has entered an era of incurable illnesses. He realized that a Medical Doctor is an Educator, who looks after the sick under his direct care and the well in the community where he leaves and beyond. That such a doctor is concerned about the spiritual, physical, and mental well-being of people and spreads this threefold knowledge for the welfare of humanity. To meet this responsibility he registered a private company called MUNA Healthlife Consultancy in 2004 that now runs a Healthlife Institute to provide consultancy, training, and research in HEALTHLIFE, a word Dr Muna coined from the words HEALTH and LIFE and defined it as Total whole person well-being - well-being in Spirit, Body, and Mind (SBM). Dr Muna believes that these three primary realms that make up a human being have each a specific function in solving the human challenges of Sin, Sickness, and Poverty (SSP). The SBM dimensions are also complementary which should be recognized in order to achieve sustainable human wellness promotion. Proper capacity development of the SBM will lead to Spiritual health, Physical health, and Financial health (SPF) which helps in the face of increased lawlessness, chronic incurable illnesses, and poverty. The problem right now is ignorance of the true knowledge and practice that develop the capacity of SBM. The Author's has written books to spread this Healthlife concept and MUNA Healthlife Institute now trains Healthlife Counselors, Healthlife Educators, and Healthlife Entrepreneurs as Biopsychospiritual service providers to restore harmonious functioning of the SBM that promotes SPF to end SSP. In the author's view Healthlife is Human Wellness Promotion for Human Capacity Development that provides the framework for true sustainable development in line with the approved UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
