About the Book

If a person doesn't really know the ups and downs of history pertaining to the nationality he/she belongs tends to be easily cheated and bought by people who view politics as a game of fattening their pockets. The subject of politics, without knowledge and understanding ends up being dirty, more of sloganeering without tangible evidence to show up for the rich words enshrined in the election campaign manifestos. The electorate always feel cheated and there is need for political parties to repent and adopt excellent and original work to marshal the masses of Zimbabwe out of dire poverty into the promised land of riches, wealth and long life. It is my hope that this book has quality content, reader goodwill and mind is not captured, the readers are allowed to critically think about the contents, in the long run love is the answer, righteousness and justice. We have for several years been aware of the shortage of suitable texts on these subjects but I hope a new dawn has come. Let the ideas of political parties be tested through this fire of truth.Having learnt the different complex systems undermining the transparent and efficient governance of many African nations Godknows Maremera decided to write about the political issues that give birth to such kind of leadership. It would be inadequate to try to separate the background of an African politician and how they conduct their politics. For African nations to move from autocratic systems in the name of democracy it can take longer than the time they were fighting colonialism the reason being that the system has been practiced for long. The kingdoms of the past used to be hereditary but now we have voted for kings supported by constitutions that defend them and state machines of violence to suppress any opposition. It is not easy to live a life of integrity where everyone is compromised, but it is possible. The church settings are worthy of scrutiny. Whilst the situation is getting worse some even join the radical blind politicians saying endure the bad things soon it is going to be ok. RAMBAI MAKASHINGA tricks are being played and the people know them. False prophets or religious politically affiliated men of God are supporting an evil that is about to take a toll on their offerings and tithes. Only when their offerings and tithes are dwindling you hear them reverse their words saying they must go on a round table for talks such that people may be alleviated from suffering. This is not done to help the people or for the love of congregants but because the offerings and tithes sources are dwindling. You see how corrupted church leaders act like. However true men of God have prophesied in advance of what is going to happen. The people must prepare and brace for the worse. They can celebrate the departure of Mugabe but they will be crying more that they made a mistake. The new government is failing to deliver bread and butter to the people. Instead of addressing the challenge they will divert their attention to seeking the destruction of MDC Alliance and sanctions. Problems that must be solved are out there, how they will be solved whilst the leaders are concentrating on other issues. Instead of dwindling problems, we have them multiplying. The vice president is sick instead of being working for the government. The senility of man in his quest to conquer the world before he conquers one-man himself.Christmas is not that colorful many people can't afford the necessities that bring jollity to this holiday. As for the coming New Year because of the prophetic promises by the different man of God Zimbabweans fill up churches praying for a prosperous new year. What a misguided prayer. Instead, they must pray for God to keep them alive from coming disasters, Cyclone IDAI, the fire cases and drought. It is going to be a deep mess.
