About the Book

Literature symbolizes the memory, which contains precious and unforgettable memory in life. Let's write poems via exploring our hearts, write prose by expressing our love and emotion, write novels by excavating our imagination, write drama through our sophisticated language system, and write cinema script via framing the scene. Writing is all about mental brainstorm and spiritual enjoyment. It's amazing how a single pen can bring us unlimited source of imagination. In 2017, Writers from North America Chinese Writers' Association, Los Angeles' (NACWALA) have created countless fruitful works. In addition, the book "The Writers' Garden" fully demonstrates literature accomplishment and writing ability of members from NACWALA. Unconfined to the theme choices of North American areas, members from NACWALA are free to give play to their imagination in the book "The Writer's Garden." Corpus seeks for representative works of members in 2017, and sets up a column of "precious memories," thus capturing unforgettable memories in their previous years. The book includes members' essays, poems, novels and other outstanding works as well as their glorious and fascinating memories throughout their life. The book is interesting, vivid, touching and inspirational, which moisten everything silently, and influence others profoundly. You just can't take your hands off this fascinating book.
About the Author: About NACWALA: North America Chinese Writers' Association, Los Angeles In autumn 1991, Los Angeles, the gateway of west America, is a city that lives the world's largest number of Chinese people. Inspired by deep love toward literature, the North America Chinese Writers' Association, Los Angeles (NACWALA) was established. Writers from NACWALA have upheld the spirits of associating by means of literature, regarding friendship as a help to right conduct, reaching mutual cooperation, as well as exchanging experiences. With great interest and persistence in literature, everyone contributes money and service to this big family. For more than two decades, the Association has held numerous literature lectures, discussions, announcement campaigns of members' new books, and festival parties. Especially, the annual grand literary event of "Famous Writers' Forum," which has invited many well-known domestic and overseas Chinese writers to give inspirational speeches, gained solid reputation. The Association has also cooperated with the World Journal's book department to hold book exhibitions jointly, and to donate books to libraries at home and abroad for their collections as well . The Association has been annually releasing publications of " Writers in Los Angeles," "Members' Collection," "Writers' Garden," etc., which stands a place in the world's Chinese literature creations. In 2016, Mr. Arthur Peng, president of NACWALA, took an initiative to editing members' biography, and made it into a book. This book has received a very warm response and many rave reviews. It is unprecedented and indeed a milestone in the Association's history.
