About the Book

In general, to the people of this 21st century world; technological, materialistic, empirically selfish, where stepping on one's neighbor is daily; he is not interested in the subject of sanctity. Because, accustomed to living with daily evil, the fact of having to be as perfect as possible and free from all guilt is extremely difficult to achieve and that ideal is continually shaken from their minds. It is easier to conform to what everyone is doing, to accept proposals that are not morally correct, and to try to have a good time in the delights and pleasures that are constantly offered in abundant cascade.

Chapter I
Holiness.

We must admit that humanity has evolved technologically. New discoveries have allowed science to advance in all fields of knowledge. New cures are provided for diseases that were previously incurable, the journeys that took many days of hard crossing are now made in a few hours with unbeatable comfort, you had to wait for months to hear from distant latitudes and now people connect in seconds with other who live on the opposite side of the planet. The news comes to us at the same moment that the events take place.
However, just as man and woman have evolved technologically, they have not done so in their hearts, in their souls, in their spirits, which continue to have the same moral problems since humanity is humanity. It is even possible that the spiritual state of the world has worsened. As a disease that eats away, negative elements of evil are added that make us move away from the ideal of holiness that God proposed to us there, many years ago, in the Garden of Eden and that, unfortunately, we waste. It's not just Adam and Eve's fault. In them, we were also represented in our human nature. It seems as if the freedom with which God made us gave us the right to disobey Him. This story is repeated in every man and woman through the centuries. Always the tendency to evil, our own, that separates us from Him.
Perhaps it would have been better if we had made automatons, robots of flesh and blood handled by the divine computer that would not allow us to sin. In this, there is no freedom, and God wanted us to be free to choose, to decide which path to take, to think with our own intelligence, without any interference from His part. This is to be truly free and He chose to make us that way, even though He knew that we were going to fail.
But holiness still exists. It is possible. It is not an unattainable theoretical concept. It is real and has a lot of value. Even today, God is asking us to be holy. It is an immense challenge that requires courage, self-control and, above all, love of God.
