THEOPHILUS In 1996 William ("Billy") Jack LeMatty, aka "B.J.", a U.S. citizen, was arrested with a female friend in Safford, Arizona, after what news papers reported was for a U.S. cross country crime spree, including murders. After 1996, in jail, hearing the gospel by evangelist Bobby Joiner, B.J. accepted God's grace through Jesus Christ and began with repentance "seeking truth about God, life, and deliverance from future hell." After entering high security prisons, B.J. was baptized, christened Benjamin John Theophilus, then "filled with the Holy Spirit, love, hope, and joy from God by salvation with an eternal new life with God in Christ!"
