About the Book

My mother, Mrs. Sadie Bell James-lynch has always been missed. She was called home to live with the Angels at a very early age. She left behind twelve children and entrusted them to be raised by family members. I know at times we all miss her dearly as we silently cry tears in her memory of lost love that can never be replaced but, we know we will see her again on a glorious sunny day. Most of the poems in this book were written by my sister Shirley Bolden and I (Lear Lynch). Over time we found ourselves not being able to express our true feelings about how we felt about our mother passing. The loneliness we felt, the betrayal, felling unsafe, unloved, not knowing how to love completely. The world, our bridge was destroyed after our mother passed away. Through it all and through the journey we were able to find God and learned to trust and love again. This is our testimony, our gift and all the pieces we have strive to put back together again and share with the world.
About the Author: Lear was born in Demopolis, AL. She is the tenth child of 12 born to the parents of Mr. and Mrs. Eliza Lynch. At the age of five she lost her mother (Sadie Bell Lynch) and later moved to Detroit, MI where she was raised by her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Christian where she resided until she moved to New York. She currently lives in Harvest, AL. Lear is the proud mother of three children Brandi Chanell Lynch-Long, Christien Gerard Rowan, George DaShawn Rowan, and a son in law Maurice Long. Lear has always had a passion for writing. Her favorite subject in high school was English and her favorite teacher was named Mr. Yee. He was the first person to recognize her talent and gift as writer and always encouraged her to write and to reach for her dreams. While attending college Lear had the opportunity to write her first short skit which eventually will become a full blown play titled "The Counselor." Lear has written two plays titled "My Teenager My Child" and "My Teenager My Child Part Two." She has also written a book titled "Forty Years Later, which was inspired by the election of the first African-American), President of the United States, President Barack H. Obama. She has co-written a poetry book titled "Wonderful Woman Selected Poems," with her sister Shirley Bolden, her sister-in-law Deloyce Lynch and her niece Kiah LeeAnn Lynch. Lear is set to co-write a play with Ms. Christiana Ashford one of her closest and dearest friends titled the "Prodigal Son." She has also written music for the plays. Lear is also in the process of writing a book titled "Dreams of Reality; Reality of Dreams," "The Divorce" which will be a collaboration of four different stories of women and their experience of being divorced. Lear's biggest challenge will be writing the biography of her aunt Mrs. Liza Ann-James Howard. Mrs. Howard was the first African American to graduate from Livingston University located in Livingston, AL the university has been renamed to the University of West Alabama. Lear is the owner and CEO of Faith and Deliverance Production Company.
