About the Author: Kirsty joined the Australian army at 18, married at 22, and was divorced by the time she was just 24. "At a young age I discovered, through experience (some would say 'the hard way'!) what I didn't want, which fuelled my travels along the path of self-discovery. Through my personal journey I found two of my all-time favourite books, Deepak Chopra's PERFECT HEALTH and Caroline Myss' ANATOMY OF THE SPIRIT. At 27 years of age I was diagnosed with depression, which was the catalyst for my decision to part with the army. My experience with the treatment of my overall WELLBEING at that stage of my life spurred my deep desire to learn as much as I could about not only the prevention of illness and self-care, but also about the creation of HEALTH = WEALTH, to support a sustainable lifestyle. When I left the army to study NATUROPATHY I started on a path, which would see me meet and learn from some amazing teachers of health and world leaders in consciousness. Ten years on, in addition to my 'pieces of paper', I have learned and integrated so much in the way of living a balanced and sustainable lifestyle. And I'm blessed to have the opportunity to teach others. When I was 32, and remarried with a child, my husband survived a roadside bomb incident in Iraq. He returned a different man. After seven months of 'living on the edge', his body had shut down. He undertook physical detoxification processes, but his emotional scars continued to cause physiological reactions in his body. He was subsequently diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He has fully recovered from that condition - one for which many believe there is no cure. This situation took my learning to a new level. It lead me on the path to discover more about how our emotions affect our HEALTH = WEALTH." Over the years Kirsty has learned from some of the world's best, found fantastic mentors and coaches and integrated her learning, so her lifestyle reflects what she wants.
