Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 2,3, Technische Universität Dresden (Institut für Germanistik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit befasst sich mit Märchentheorien aus verschiedenen Wissenschaftsbereichen und der Umsetzung und Funktion von Märchen im Deutschunterricht der Mittelschule. Um mit dem Begriff Märchen zu arbeiten, ist es zunächst notwendig, sich mit der literarischen Gattung auseinander zu setzen und ihre Geschichte, Besonderheiten und Merkmale kennen zu lernen. Dieser Abschnitt hat daher eine wichtige und erklärende Funktion für den folgenden Inhalt der Arbeit. Zudem soll in einem Teil auf die Tätigkeit der Märchensammler, insbesondere auf die Brüder Grimm eingegangen werden. Auch die Forschung und der Begriff der Volksmärchen spielen eine kurze Rolle, um den Gesamtüberblick abzurunden. Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit sollen die Märchentheorien betrachtet werden. Dafür wurden unterschiedliche Wissenschaftler gewählt, um die Ergebnisse der jeweiligen Forschungsrichtungen darzustellen, welche verschiedene Analyse- und Interpretationsmodelle entwickelt und den Märchen zugrunde gelegt haben. Sind die erläuterten Theorien praktisch umsetzbar und welche Kritik muss man zu diesen äußern? Der dritte Hauptteil der Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Anwendung der Märchen im Unterricht. Finden die betrachteten Theorien Beachtung im Schulunterricht und wie können die Lernziele methodisch umgesetzt werden? Anschließend wird die heutige Wichtigkeit dieser Geschichten in der Schule betrachtet. Welche Ziele und Funktionen üben sie aus und wie können sie die Lesefähigkeit der Schüler fördern? In welcher Form rezipieren die Mädchen und Jungen Märchen? Gerade in der Schule müssen konkrete Handlungs- und Motivationsformen gefunden werden, um diese wichtige Schlüsselqualifikation und das Leseinteresse bei den Mädchen und Jungen zu fördern. An dieser Stelle soll schließlich der Entwurf einer Unterrichtse
