About the Author: Tanya Burke BA (Comm), Dip Ed, MA first began training children in leadership skills and personal growth in 1997 as an Outward Bound Instructor. Her passion for the development of human potential led her into teaching and then foreign affairs. As a diplomat working with prisoners she began to study the underlying factors that lead some children to become successful adults and others into a lifetime of trouble. After working intensively with children and adults Tanya brings together a wide range of disciplines to create a simple, highly effective curriculum of emotional intelligence.
