Die Untersuchung wird in Rahmen dieser Arbeit nicht durchgeführt. Die GmbH hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, ihr bisheriges (physisches) Produktangebot um ein digitales Produkt zu erweitern. Das Unternehmen möchte den, durch die Pandemie im Jahr 2020, entstandenen Aufschwung und die Weiterentwicklung der Digitalisierung aktiv mitgestalten. Dazu wurde bereits ein E-Commerce-Shop für ihre Heimtrainer und ihr Trainingszubehör um-gesetzt. Der Digitalbereich des Unternehmens soll nun in diesem Jahr mit einem innovativen Geschäftsmodell und mithilfe einer Applikations-Anwendung weiterentwickelt werden. Im Moment stellt sich das Management die Frage, wie hoch die Zahlungsbereitschaft der Kunden für ein digitales Produkt wäre. Die geplante Entwicklung einer Fitness-Applikation soll sich vor allem durch die Vielfalt an Kursen und Gesundheitsangeboten und einem professionellem Trainer-/Coaching-Netzwerk von der Konkurrenz abheben und am Markt ein einzigartiges An-gebot schaffen. Dabei stehen On-Demand-Videos, Live-Sessions und eine Chat-Funktion im Mittelpunkt, wodurch die Nutzer das Gefühl bekommen sollen, in einem Fitnessstudio oder Kurs vor Ort zu sein und beispielsweise mit den Trainern und Coaches direkt in Kontakt treten zu können. Das Ziel der App ist es außerdem, für alle Kundengruppen, unabhängig von ihrem Alter und ihrer Lebenssituation, einen Mehrwert zu schaffen und den allgemeinen Gesundheitszustand sowie das Wohlbefinden der App-Nutzer zu steigern.
