Welchen Einfluss hat das Web 2.0 auf die Politik? Wie genau findet im 21. Jahrhundert der Online-Wahlkampf der etablierten Parteien statt? Mit diesen Fragen beschäftigt sich das medienpolitische Buch "Wie Web 2.0 die Politik verändert: Der Online-Wahlkampf hat begonnen". Inspiriert durch den Wahlkampf 2008 in den USA wird im Verlauf dieser Studie insbesondere aufgezeigt, wie Web 2.0 auf die Politik in Deutschland Einfluss nimmt. In fünf Kapiteln werden verschiedene Studien, Entwicklungen und Trends anschaulich vermittelt. Zunächst werden einige Begrifflichkeiten definiert, um im Anschluss verschiedene Web 2.0-Instrumente an konkreten Beispielen im Online-Wahlkampf zu erklären; dabei werden Chancen und Risiken des Web 2.0s aufgezeigt. Im Hauptteil wird ausführlich beschrieben, inwieweit Politiker Web 2.0-Instrumente wie Facebook, Blogs und Twitter für den Online-Wahlkampf gebrauchen. Dies wird an konkreten Beispielen erläutert, wie dem Facebook-Profil von Verteidigungsminister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, dem Twitter-Account von Bundesministerin für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend Kristina Schröder sowie dem Blog der Kubanerin Yoani Sánchez. Zudem werden die Chancen und Risiken des Web 2.0s an Beispielen wie z.B. dem Rücktritt von Horst Köhler, Bundespräsident a.D., aufgezeigt. Ebenfalls wird im Hauptteil analysiert, inwieweit das Internet die Politik in den Bereichen Föderalismus, Daten-, Jugend- sowie Verbraucherschutz verändert. Im empirischen Teil der Studie, folgt ein ausführliches Interview mit dem Internetspezialisten Matthias J. Lange. Das Interview gibt einen Einblick über den Online-Wahlkampf der etablierten Parteien, die Piratenpartei, WikiLeaks, die digitale Kluft und die Risiken des Jugend- und Verbraucherschutzes.
About the Author: Samuel Ernst, Jahrgang 1985, erlangte 2011 den "Bachelor of Arts" im Studium Medienmanagement an der Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt. Bereits während des Studiums in Würzburg sowie während des Auslandsaufenthaltes in Santiago de Chile vertiefte sich der Autor in die Thematik der Medienpolitik. Als Stipendiant der Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, Freier Journalist sowie Mitglied des Bayerischen Journalisten Verbandes forschte er in den vergangenen Jahren über das Web 2.0 und dessen Einfluss auf die Politik im Online-Wahlkampf.
