Chaplain Joe Herzanek, a recovering person himself, is president and founder of the Colorado nonprofit organization, Changing Lives Foundation. As an addiction counselor in Colorado he spent over twenty-five years working in the criminal justice system as Chaplain at the Boulder County Jail.
Joe is the former host of Recovery Television, speaker, family addiction counselor, producer of several DVDs and author of this award-winning book "Why Don't They Just Quit?"
His passion for helping families struggling with addiction inspired him, along with his wife Judy, to write this book.
Chaplain Joe and Judy Herzanek have three adult children and enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors with their two Cairn Terriers, Lewis and Clark.
