Are flowers of the same color?
Are they all white?
Are they all black?
Or are they all red?
No. As you really see, flowers are in many different colors,
red, yellow, pink, orange, blue, and purple.
Are the days always sunny?
Sunny days are lovely.
But there are other kinds of days, like windy days, rainy days, and snowy days.
What about friends? I have several. They're all different in their own ways, boys, girls, light-skinned, or dark-skinned. Some of them even know how to make faces.
So everything is different -
different colors, different days, and different friends.
What if no differences among them? In other words, what if everything were the same? That could be scary!
What if all the colors were the same?
-Science says that a mixture of all colors is either white or black.
If everything were white, we would see nothing more than all white.
If everything were black, we would see everything in the dark.
What if days were all the same, always sunny, no rainy days and no snowy days?
- Science says that too much sunshine makes a desert, a thirsty land with no water.
What if friends are all alike, everyone is the same as each other? That way, who would be around me?
Would I laugh at myself? Would I be angry at myself? Or Would I feel sad for myself? Am I crazy?
The truth is that things are created to be different!
What makes everything different is what makes everything amazing.
Different colors make flowers beautiful.
Rainy and snowy days are watering days, bringing water from heaven to nourish the earth.
Play with friends, laugh with friends, and learn from friends.
Each friend has their own unique talent.
The more different types of friends, the more kinds of talents to be shared, and the wiser I will become.
Rainbows come out after rain.
Snowmen melt away, and here comes spring.
I grow as time passes; things change and become different.
Embrace differences, cherish differences, and celebrate differences. That's how things exist and how we live.
