How does knowing Jesus affect your life? Do you put God first in every decision you make and everything you do? Do you consider what you're about to say before you say it?
These three questions are the doorways to a thought-provoking and spiritually motivating journey. Collected from life lessons written by ordained minister and licensed clinical social worker Barbara A. Thomas, this easy-to-read book leads those who are seeking continued spiritual growth and insight on a refreshingly candid and informative exploration of the Bible and God's will for their lives.
The first part takes a close look at your attitude and perspective of who Jesus is and how this informs your decisions and actions. The second section reaffirms the first commandment, which is to put God before everything else in life, and explains how not involving him in every decision opens the door to unnecessary challenges and disappointments. The final segment asks you to carefully consider your words before sending them into the world, for once you speak something, you cannot take it back.
Ultimately, Rev. Thomas's wisdom is much more than "a collection of thoughts"-it is an open door to a more spiritual and Jesus-driven life.
