Although the focus of this book is a study on the life of Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, it is really about you, the child of God. It is about your dreams, your fears, your past, your future and your journey with God.
Be like Caleb. Spy out the land, overcome the barriers, face the giants, take the fruit of the land, give a good report and claim your mountain!
Yes, there will be rough times and yes there are tough choices. There will be mistakes, and there will be failures. When you stumble, get up. Get up again and again. You were born to be an overcomer.
As you read about this son of Jephunneh, you will be amazed how much his life parallels your life. God has faith in you. Don't stop, don't quit. God is calling you, as he called Caleb, to a victorious life of overcoming power.
Don't sit on the sidelines. Step out of the shadows. Come into His marvelous light and diligently follow the call of God for your life.
There is much about Caleb we do not know. The first forty years of his life are blank. It is not until
he responds, to the call of God, that we catch our first glimpse of this son of Jephunneh.
To borrow a phrase, from the wisdom of Mordecai, that accurately describes, not only Caleb's life, but your life as well, "who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14
Caleb is just one of the many examples of those who, by the power of God, were able to reach the unreachable and achieved the impossible.
