Der Konzernumsatz im Jahr 2015 beläuft sich auf 4,7 Mrd. GBP. Der CEO von CAPITA plc heißt Andy Parker und der CEO von CAPITA Europe Marcus Meloni. Zu dem Kundenkreis gehören neben privaten Unternehmen auch öffentliche Einrichtungen, Verwaltungen, Versicherungsgesellschaften, Transportunternehmen, Behörden und medizinische Einrichtungen. Unter Outsourcing versteht man die Ausgliederung von Unternehmensaufgaben an externe Dienstleister. Ziel des Outsourcing ist es, Produktionskapazitäten abzubauen und Kosten zu verringern. Callcenter wie CAPITA bieten sich als Dienstleister an, die zunehmende Automatisierung von Geschäftsabläufen durch Ausgliederung kostengerecht zu bewerkstelligen.
