In der Gegenwart sind Werbungen Hilfsmittel, um ein Produkt publik zu machen und die Verkaufszahlen zu erhöhen. Oberstes Ziel ist demnach eine Profitsteigerung des Unternehmens. Die Werbung dient nach diesen Aussagen auch einer Informationsvermittlung und Informationsvergabe. Bezogen auf das Thema dieser Arbeit ist demnach zu prüfen, ob mittels dieser Art von Kommunikation auch politische Botschaften, getarnt als Wirtschaftswerbung, verbreitet werden können und welche Intentionen mit den vorgestellten Anzeigen verbunden waren. Die Relevanz und das Interesse an der Werbung haben in den letzten Jahrzehnten stetig zugenommen. Die Forschung hat dabei bewiesen, dass Werbung in ihren Grundzügen und der Art und Weise, wie sie gestaltet wird, oft den aktuellen Zuständen einer Gesellschaft entspricht. Kriegeskorte spricht davon, dass die Anzeigengestaltung sich immer dem "herrschenden" Stil angleicht. Für die nachfolgende Ausarbeitung ergeben sich somit die Fragen, wie Werbung in Deutschland zu einer Zeit gestaltet wurde, in der die NS-Führung die Gesellschaft auf einen Krieg vorbereitete. Wie wird Werbung dargestellt, um das Volk davon zu überzeugen, eine Einheit zu bilden und ein gemeinsames Ziel zu verfolgen?
