Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Komparatistik, Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft, Note: 1,1, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wer spricht? Diese Frage zieht sich, von Foucault und Barthes neu gestellt, durch die Postmoderne. Diese Arbeit hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, die Frage nach dem Subjekt, und wie es sich uns in den Figuren der deutschsprachigen Gegenwartsdramatik präsentiert, zu stellen. Sie versucht, genauer zu fassen, welche Arten der Figuren in den zeitgenössischen Stücken zu finden sind und welche verschiedenen, gegenwärtigen Vorstellungen und Ideen sie über das Konzept des Subjekts in seiner Einheit und Vielheit vermitteln. Oder kommunizieren die Dramen gar eine Vorstellung davon, dass das Subjekt, wie der von Barthes proklamierte Autor, längst tot sei? Wenn auch nicht ihren Tod, so problematisieren verschiedene Dramen oder vielmehr Textformen, die für die Bühne konzipiert sind, die Stellung der dramatischen Figur, stellen damit das Konzept des Subjekts in Frage und verweisen auf Rollenhaftigkeit der lebensweltlichen Rollensegmente. Interessant wird es dabei vor allem dort, wo das dramatische Repräsentationsprinzip als unzureichend für die Darstellung vielschichtiger (subjektiver) Wirklichkeit(en) entlarvt erscheint; interessant im besonderen Falle eben dort, wo die Figur als Sinnzusammenhang und Einheit aufbricht, wo sie nicht als einzelne Person in das Zentrum des Dramas tritt, da sie in dieser Form nicht genügen würde, um die verschiedenen Individuen in ihren pluralen Wirklichkeiten und unterschiedlichen Subjektivitäten aufzugreifen. Letztlich wird selbst die Begrifflichkeit 'Figur' fraglich, wo sie in einzelne Bestandteile zerspringt, kaum noch zu fassen ist, oder sich als eine Art Verlautbarungsinstanz zeigt.
