Oder sollten sie am "normalen" Unterricht von Grund- und Weiterführenden Schulen teilnehmen und keine gesonderte Betreuung erfahren? Angehende Lehrerinnen und Lehrer stellen sich viele Fragen: "Welche Herausforderungen entstehen für Lehrkräfte bei einer Inklusion?" "Macht es überhaupt Sinn, dass Kinder mit Behinderungen am "normalen" Unterricht teilnehmen?" "Welchen Nutzen tragen die Schülerinnen und Schüler mit Behinderung bei einer Teilnahme am "normalen" Unterricht?" und "Welche Auswirkungen hat eine Teilnahme von behinderten Schülerinnen und Schülern auf die Lernergebnisse der Kinder ohne Behinderung?" Der Begriff "Inklusion" ist erstmals im Jahr 2008 durch die Ratifizierung der Konvention der Vereinten Nationen über die Rechte der Menschen mit Behinderung (im Folgenden abgekürzt mit UN-BRK) aufgetreten, bevor es im darauf folgenden Jahr (2009) durch das Inkrafttreten zu einem prominenten Schlagwort geworden ist.
