Wie keine andere Krise zuvor hat die COVID-19-Pandemie das Arbeitsleben vieler Menschen weltweit außergewöhnlich stark verändert. Sei es das Arbeiten unter strengen Hygiene- und Schutzmaßnahmen, der extreme Druck und Stress insbesondere beim Personal im Gesundheitswesen oder der komplette Wegfall vielfacher Arbeitsstellen im Gastronomie-, Hotellerie-, Event- und Kulturbereich. Zu den über 30% aller Jobs in Österreich, die sich zu Beginn der Pandemie ins Homeoffice verschoben haben, gehört auch die Berufsgruppe der LehrerInnen. Gerade Lehrkräfte, die in der Primär- oder Sekundarstufe unterrichten, waren besonders stark betroffen dadurch, dass sie völlig unvorbereitet und oft ohne jegliche Unterstützung seitens der Schulen oder Bildungsministerien von der kompletten Präsenz in die reine On-line-Lehre umsteigen mussten. Auch von Seiten der SchülerInnen stellt sich vor allem bei den jüngeren die Frage, ob die für einen adäquaten Fernunterricht technisch notwendige Ausstattung vorhanden ist, damit die LehrerInnen überhaupt die Möglichkeit haben, sie zu erreichen Neben den materiellen Voraussetzungen stellt auch die Didaktik eine der größten Herausforderungen für den Fernunterricht dar. Wie können Lehrkräfte denselben Stoff, den sie all die Jahre für den Präsenzunterricht aufbereitet und optimiert haben, nun ins Digitale übertragen, ohne dass dies zu Verständnisproblemen und Leistungseinbußen bei den SchülerInnen führt?
