Gerade in diesen Bereichen scheint sich Kundenbindung aber besonders schwierig zu gestalten. Als einer der Faktoren, die in diesem Bereich eine Rolle spielen, ist "Variety-Seeking-Behavior" zu nennen. Viele Touristen fahren in jedem Urlaub an einen anderen Ort, weil sie etwas Neues erleben und sehen wollen. (Meyer 2004) Als ein weiterer, das Personal, dass eine besondere Rolle spielt, sind doch Kontaktpunkte zum Kunden im Dienstleistungsmanagement besonders wichtig und das richtige Wort vom geschulten Personal kann oft in der Wahrnehmung der Kunden und Gäste besser in Erinnerung bleiben, als so manch andere gute oder weniger gute Leistung. Kundenbindung entsteht aber auch, wenn die Destination oder touristische Unternehmung dem Kunden einen Mehrwert gegenüber den Mitbewerbern bieten kann. Natürlich wird solch ein Mehrwert oft über Preisgestaltung erzeugt. In Zeiten der Globalisierung läuft man mit dieser Strategie aber durchaus Gefahr, von Mitbewerbern aus Billiglohn-Ländern verdrängt zu werden. Nachhaltiger scheint es zu sein, dem Kunden oder Gast etwas Besonderes zu bieten, also den vielzitierten USP (Unique Selling Proposition) zu beziehen. Der Kontakt und die Betreuung der Kunden abseits des Aufenthaltes könnten an dieser Stelle neue Möglichkeiten eröffnen und helfen sich von Mitbewerbern abzugrenzen. Eine neue Serviceleistung, also die für den Kunden oder Gast, einen eindeutigen Mehrwert bedeutet. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es nun, zu untersuchen und hinterfragen, ob es mit der Web4Trainer Software möglich, ist diesen Mehrwert zu bieten und Kundenbindung zu erzeugen. Welche Anpassungen
