About the Book

WEAVE DREAMERS: LEARNING TO BE GRATEFUL The Inca considered a child who survived a breech birth (buttocks or feet first) to be a Holy being. Lucy had entered the Earthly plane this way just in time for the party on New Year's Eve, 1964. Lying in her incubator, realizing that she was back in a body that was going to take some time to mature, she wasn't feeling particularly shamanic; more like hung-over. Sore, tired, groggy, barely able to recall why she had come here again---for comfort, she thought of the words to one of her favorite songs: "Come hear Uncle John's Band by the riverside, Got some things to talk about, here beside the rising tide..." Lucy had been here before. She had lifetimes of experience on which to base the next chapters in her soul's story and she and her record keepers, who she referred to as the "Cosmic Comedians", decided to have some fun with it: A Mystical Mystery. They wrote an elaborately interwoven play that incorporated her closest friends, and sent them all to Earth to decode a story which would reveal itself along the way through signs, symbols, songs, and synchronicities. The Cosmic Comedians teased her: "Hey, Lucy...you've been down there so many times before and you STILL haven't 'figured it out'---This time we're going to spell it out for you. It is time for you to learn to be GRATEFUL."This is her story.
About the Author: Michelle M. Crisanti is an artist and author who resides in the Pacific Northwest town of Eugene, Oregon: a city that prides itself on being "Northwest of Normal". She is interested in all things related to human anatomy and physiology including "bio-energetics", the science of the life-spark that animates us. She enjoys practices that teach us how to move the energy in our bodies, as well as to quiet the energy in the mind. She has been a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher since 1998, adding Karuna Reiki to it in 2009. In the spirit of giving to community she is the founder of "Rock Reiki" and a member of Harmony Event Medicine (501c3/NFP), staffing local concerts with medical first responders. In large part due to her experience as an artist following the Grateful Dead, she began to research the symbols and archetypes of various religions, as well as the esoteric studies of Tarot and Astrology, and the shamanic practices of the Lakota, the Hopi, the Mayans, and the Q'ero Tribes. Her art, her writing, and her spiritual practice are dedicated to the idea that music, art, love, and ritual can bring us together to appreciate the world around us. That by learning to tap into our instinct and out intuition we can find solutions to the problems created by living life out of balance. She encourages us to remember that we are all a part of a bio-sphere that relies on each other for survival and we are wholly capable of creating solutions that honor all life on it. We are the ones we have been waiting for. The Weavers of the Dreams. All Is One.
