About the Book

When We Were Gods: Insights on Atlantis, Past Lives, Angelic Beings of Light and Spiritual Awakening is the powerful true story of a woman who goes through an amazing cosmic adventure. It begins when she dreams about a stranger she will marry--and sees him the next day. Chapman is afraid and uses a 40 day prayer asking to meet her twin soul. On the 39th day of the prayer, she literally bumps into the man of her dreams. After their marriage, she has a miscarriage that causes a rapid weight gain that won't stop. Desperate for a solution, she goes to a hypnotherapist. During the hypnotherapy sessions, Chapman not only discovers past life causes of her overweight, but also reasons for all humanities' suffering. While in trance, she stumbles upon past regression experiences of (1) travel in a UFO to enter the earth with other Light Being extraterrestrials through a stargate, (2) levitation using the Great Crystal in the lost continent of Atlantis, (3) her part in building the Great Pyramid, and (4) a future with a new human form similar to the Edgar Cayce Atlantis readings on the Fifth Root Race. Chapman is also visited by the Christ Consciousness, Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel as spiritual guides. To her surprise, they give her a life mission of awakening the Golden Ones--souls who agreed in Atlantean times to reincarnate NOW, when we are again close to annihilation, to bring in a new world. These spiritual guides instruct her to share her experiences with others in a book and to tell the history of our souls on earth, which will explain how there is life after death. While writing the book, Chapman receives channeling from the Greek God Pan telling humanity what to do to invite the Nature Kingdom to clean the earth. After including Pan's message in the book, Chapman's organic garden grows vegetables of Findhorn proportions. Continuing with her hypnotherapy, she feels overwhelmed when she makes a 2012 doomsday prophecy, gives a timeline for earth changes, and predicts ascension. She also correctly foretells an earthquake a year before it happens. Shaken by her unusual experiences, Chapman travels with her husband to Mayan ruins in the Yucatan. Here, she finds confirmation of her extraordinary memories and solves the riddle of the ancient Maya's fascination with the feathered serpent. Carole Chapman's experiences are an inspiration to anyone who has had something strange and unexplained happen to them. It can help readers handle their own encounters with the unusual. Her story also makes it easier to understand the Bible, Edgar Cayce, reincarnation, and why we are here. Readers can gain a greater insight into (1) the true reasons for human death and suffering, including that death is really a "new thing" in our souls' history; (2) the amazing power of the unconscious, in which everything is already known to us and only requires our remembering; and (3) the reasons for our urgent need to live closer to nature in order to heal our planet.
