Social Media gewinnt immer mehr an Bedeutung für Unternehmen. Die allgemeine Nutzung von Facebook ist für Unternehmen kostenlos. Dadurch bietet es sich für Unternehmen an, sich und ihre Produkte zu präsentieren oder direkt mit Kunden zu kommunizieren. Unternehmen nutzen Social Media vor allen, um virales Marketing zu betreiben. Sie können über Social Media ihre Bekanntheit steigern und Kunden zum Kauf anregen. Auch im Hinblick auf die Kundenbindung durch CRM-Aktivitäten eröffnen soziale Netzwerke interessante Möglichkeiten. Doch entstehen neben den zahlreichen Vorteilen, die Social Media Plattformen mit sich bringen, auch Nachteile in Form von Risiken? In dieser Hausarbeit analysiere ich die Risiken, die Unternehmen bei der Nutzung von Social Media, insbesondere bei Facebook, beachten müssen. Facebook ist die größte Social Media Plattform und stellt somit für Unternehmen das interessanteste Netzwerk. Dabei untersuche ich, welche Risiken für den B2B-, den B2C-und CRM-Bereich entstehen und wie groß die Risiken durch die eigenen Mitarbeiter eines Unternehmens sind. Ebenso analysiere ich, welche Risiken durch Shitstorms entstehen und wie das Eintreten von Risiken minimiert werden kann. Um die Risiken zu analysieren, habe ich vor allem Statistiken und Beobachtungen herangezogen. Ich untersuche bei meiner Forschungsfrage sämtliche Risken für alle Arten von Unternehmen, die Social Media Plattformen für Werbezecke nutzen, um ihren Profit oder ihr Image zu erhöhen. Ich werde in meiner Forschungsfrage nur die Risiken von dem Medium Facebook erörtern, wenn Unternehmen dieses als Werbeplattform nutzen. Risiken durch andere Social Media Plattformen, wie beispielsweise Xing oder Twitter, berücksichtige ich nicht, weil
