About the Book

What if you could pull the curtain back and see the supernatural forces from both the good and evil sides of the spiritual battle as those forces wage warfare for the souls of men? Mandy Stevens and her two neighbors, Cort and Andrew Davis are called on to rout the enemy's stronghold in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. They are not up against "flesh and blood"-at least not the natural kind. They find themselves pitted against hybrid beings that are wreaking havoc with the local people who live in Aspen Hollow. Things get really heated when the Prince of California shows up.
About the Author: R. L. Hague was born in Poplarville, MS. The son of a Baptist minister, Hague came to salvation at an early age. He later strayed from his faith and became a typical rebellious teen. While serving in the Navy, Hague made an about face and set his sights toward serving his Lord. It was not long afterward that Hague became the music and youth director at First Baptist Church, Bay St. Louis, MS. In August 1970, Hague and his youth group had an encounter with two witnesses of the Asbury Revival while on a church youth retreat at Seashore Methodist Campground in Biloxi, MS. The encounter produced revival, both in Hague and the youth of the church. What followed can only be described as miraculous as the tiny church saw more than 1,000 professions of faith, a result of personal witnessing, youth revivals and retreats, and the revival fires that shook the church for almost two years. Since that time, Hague has been involved in evangelistic and teaching ministries and in a number of churches throughout the South, giving him insight into youth and their interest in the supernatural. Hague has won numerous awards including seven first place wins from CPRAM (College Public Relations of Mississippi), and the prestigious Certificate of Commendation from the American Association for State and Local History for Pearl River College: a historical documentary, a 71-minute film Hague wrote and directed. He was also inducted into the Mississippi Community College Creative Writing Association's Hall of Fame, and recently won the Mississippi Historical Society's Award of Merit for his work founding and maintaining the PRCC Museum. Hague is currently the Film and Video Technology Instructor and Museum Director at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, MS. He has written and directed more than 40 health-awareness films for K-12 schools, produced by the college's Department of Nursing Education, Office of Public Relations, and Television and Film Productions. In his spare time, Hague composes and arranges music for student films, personal productions, and Healthy People Now! Productions. Hague is a contributing author for the The Mississippi Public Community and Junior College Story, 1972-2002 (published by The University Press of Mississippi). He also wrote The Least of These, a coming-of-age novel about a pastor's son during the racial tensions of 1960s Mississippi, as well as The Warrior series of books.
