Grant, PhD A Lifelong learner, social justice advocate, educator, mother and wife are just a few roles that described Dr. Grant. She completed her secondary and undergraduate education in California; her post-secondary graduate education in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She was honored as Boston College Minority University Fellow. After receiving her PhD from Boston College; Chestnut Hill Massachusetts in 2004, she accepted a position with The University of the West Indies as Instructional Development Specialist where she served for five years. This book commemorates the adventure of living and working in a foreign countries and the opportunities it provided to expand her knowledge about other cultures than her own.
About the Author: Dr. Grant is a native of Louisiana whose family tree dates back to the first civilian ship to settle in New Orleans. She was educated in California and New England; and has traveled extensively throughout the United States, the British commonwealth, and the Anglophone Caribbean countries.
