I would like to begin by thanking my daughter, Laura Hagan Sullivan, for providing the photo that was used for the cover of this book. She has provided endless hours of support during the completion of this book. Her assistance is greatly appreciated. I am also indebted to my friend, Bill Braitsch who provided technical support in the completion of this book. His assistance cannot be measured in words alone. Lastly, I would like to thank my fellow writer, Dr. Paul Saluk. He provided constant encouragement and inspired me to be a better writer in the process. I will forever be grateful to him for his friendship.
A Walk by the Sea
A walk on the sands along the sounding waves of the sea
There is always time for the serenity in this walk for you and me
A gentle breeze is always a present as the walk proceeds
It's a two-mile journey to visit the little town of small white houses along the sea
The sea birds are all lifting into the air or landing on the sand in our walk by the sea
The air produces a pureness and is easy to breathe
You can walk as bristly as you please, or slow down and enjoy what you see
It's a wonderful place to be in this walk by the sea
The quietness has a way of calming the soul and taking the cares away
There is an avalanche of peace, and everything become beautiful in your mind
Time passes all too quickly as there is so much to see
High tide is still hours away so there is time to appreciate all the beauty we see A place to return to, time and time again, as if it was for the first time
