About the Book

"The Wackiest Knight from Camelot" is a 312-page episodic narrative that crosses the genres of HUMOR, SELF-HELP, and INSPIRATIONAL FICTION. Storyline: A comical but troubled young knight from Camelot journeys into the future; his quest is to feel and act like a king. With a star-studded cast of characters and 50 knightly lessons in living, the mostly amusing, intermittently downright hilarious book is fun and educational reading for all teenagers and adults-absolutely "must reading" for anyone, male or female, who aspires to become the VERY BEST that he or she can be! . . . The world's best (and funniest) self-help or gift book! Rated: PG-13 (some strong language/some sexual inferences) (Note: To the best of my knowledge, "The Wackiest Knight from Camelot" is the first published and printed book in America, at least, to carry a "Reader-Rating Warning" of any nature. The "Rated PG-13" warning is printed on the book's copyright page and also appears on the book's back cover.)
About the Author: John B. Michaels (birth name: John M. Bartosh), 66, currently lives in Henderson, Colorado, just a few minutes north of Denver. John, who received a B.A. Degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State College in Denver in 1971, said, "More important than my formal education, like so many people who have made their fair share of mistakes in life, I also graduated with honors from the 'school of hard knocks.'" Up to now, John says, proudly, his biggest "claim to fame" has been, in his opinion, that he was the man most responsible for the development and long-term success of Furniture Row Companies-a Denver-based, 330-store, nationwide, furniture chain that sprouted from a single Big Sur Waterbeds store in Lakewood in 1977. Barney Visser, founder and CEO of Furniture Row Companies, once told John, "I don't completely understand what makes you tick, but you are the best leader of people that I have ever known." John insinuated in the "Foreword" that, because of the book's educational and inspirational value, "The Wackiest Knight from Camelot" is truly "worth a million" to anyone who reads it. John must not be kidding. He is planning to publish the literature in a book-collector's hardcover edition, which will be available only from the author's website at http: //www.OneSuperBook.com. The list price: $1,000,000! (Direct inquiries via email to: johnbmichaels@onesuperbook.com) All of the net proceeds from sales of the million-dollar, book collector's, hardcover edition will be donated to various worthy charities, such as ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), HSUS (Humane Society of the United States), American Cancer Society, etc. The actual charity organizations selected and amount donated to each will be determined by a mutual agreement between the author and any one or more individuals who may purchase the million-dollar book edition. Finally, in the "Foreword," John said, "Most of those who really know me would tell anybody who doesn't know me either one or both of these things: First, 'There's generally a method to John's madness.' Second, 'Those who believe that the older-looking, bearded spokesperson for the popular Dos Equis beer commercials is "the most interesting man in the world" haven't as yet met John B. Michaels.' By the way, I don't always drink beer. But when I do, I prefer an ice-cold mug of 'Bud'!"
