Le peu de passé des jeunes Etats ferait croire qu'on en connaît convenablement l'Histoire. Erreur. Celle de la RD Congo est accablée de mythes accumulés et dupliqués par copier-coller. Au point que, par exemple, ses élites se gargarisent d'une possible guerre de l'eau sans s'apercevoir que ce pays abrite tout entier le deuxième fleuve d'Afrique, de sa source à son embouchure, ainsi que des myriades de rivières et 15.000 Km de voies navigables. Des montagnes de contre-vérités sont rectifiées dans une écriture facile et en trois langues (français, swahili et lingala) qui installent le pays dans l'histoire universelle. Chaque page apporte une révélation, un débat. Le tout est illustré par des images et des cartes inédites. Les titres parlent d'eux-mêmes. Les Congolais lisent la Bible. Il y a deux Lumumba ... camerounais. Le chemin de fer congolais en Chine. Un Anglais fait tuer un Tanzanien. Le roi d'Italie trace la frontière. Si César n'avait pas été poignardé. Le seul Etat non colonisé en 1885. La Belgique n'a pas accordé, mais elle a restitué l'indépendance. Des martyrs sans noms ni tombes. Pas une, mais deux mains coupées. Un holocauste au pifomètre. Une barbarie universelle. Etc. Propos de l'auteur: Il y a un lourd déficit, pour ne pas parler de carence maladive, en lecture des livres. Pourquoi cette impasse, alors que la société moderne ne peut s'installer ni évoluer dans la tradition orale ? Il est bien possible que les gens ne lisent pas parce qu'ils n' ont pas été dépucelés, ils n' ont pas eu des occasions de goûter comme à un fruit défendu . Ils ne savent pas que le livre est un véhicule d' informations et de sensations, plus puissant que des réalisations cinématographiques, parce que chaque lecteur perçoit et construit ses propres images. J'ai choisi un récit sur la formation du Congo. Parce que l'histoire du Pays est d'intérêt général. Mal connue, elle est polluée par des images contrefaites et répétées à l'infini. Le livre est léger dans sa présentation, mais il est lourd en révélations qui ne manqueront pas de titiller les sentiments et la curiosité, bref d'apporter de la saveur aux écrits divers et l'envie de jouissance en ouvrant et en dévorant des livres. Je propose cela avec une nouvelle écriture consistant en une page pleine par paragraphe et des adaptations en swahili et en lingala. Le texte peut aussi être lu en version électronique (Ebook) ou écouté en audiolivre (CD ou micro carte SD). Il y a surtout, la possibilité d'être lu ou écouté par toutes les couches de la population et sur l'ensemble du territoire.

En 45 ans, il a exercé le journalisme, l'enseignement universitaire, et principalement la profession libérale d' avocat et de conseil juridique. Il a aussi crée une industrie de chaussures en cuir qui est à l' arrêt par défaut de paiements et de commandes de l' Etat congolais. Il est l'auteur de plusieurs études scientifiques ainsi que d'essais littéraires, et de deux blogs qui décryptent l'actualité. Il a aussi créé et installé un musée privé pour héberger la mémoire collective des familles qui ont bâti son pays. Tout cela en fait un spécialiste et un témoin indépendant de la RD Congo et de l' Afrique.
