Essay aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Politik - Didaktik, politische Bildung, Note: BESTANDEN, Universität Kassel, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Was haben Schulen mit dem Gefängnis oder dem Militär gemeinsam? - Diese Frage zu stellen, gleicht im ersten Augenblick einer Provokation oder Zuspitzung, doch beim zweiten Blick auf die Frage und nach der Meinung von Foucault, der gerne in diesem Zusammenhang auch mit Blickwinkel auf die Schule beispielsweise von Holzkamp, ebenso wie von Nonnenmacher, zitiert wird, hat Schule sehr viel damit gemeinsam. Um die Frage daher nicht sogleich scharf formulieren zu müssen, sollte wohl eher zunächst die folgenden Fragen gestellt werden, die ebenso das zu projizierende Problem offenbaren: Was soll Schule überhaupt bezwecken, anstreben und weitergeben? Wie soll Lernen in dieser Institution organisiert und verstanden werden? Welche Rollen haben die Akteure in der Schule einzunehmen? Und was denken und erwarten Gesellschaft und Politik? Die Pädagogen sind hierbei wohl die Unschuldigsten, obwohl das die Politiker, Eltern, Schüler und die Gesellschaft vermutlich anders sehen würden. Der Konflikt, der eigentlich ausschlaggebend ist, wird nur zumeist auf den Rücken der Pädagogen ausgetragen, die sich ja im Grunde genommen genau darüber bewusst sind, was schief läuft, sich jedoch nicht selbstständig aus dem nahezu unvermeidbaren Widerspruch befreien können: Es geht hierbei nämlich vielmehr um die sehr hohe Diskrepanz zwischen dem Schulzweck, wie ihn die Gesellschaft und Politik in seiner Umsetzung fordert, und dem pädagogischen Auftrag in Bezug auf das wirkliche Lernen, den Erkenntnisgewinn eines jeden Kindes für sich und das weiterführende Leben.
