München, 1957. Bescheidener Wohlstand breite sich aus. Christiaan wird in eine noble Familie hineingeboren, als Stammhalter. In der Familie herrscht Erleichterung. Die Erwartungen an ihn sind hoch, aber Zeit hat niemand für ihn. Der Vater muss regieren, die Mutter Bridge spielen. Christiaan entzieht sich diesem Vakuum, orientierte sich jenseits der bröckelnden Fassade des Elternhauses. Seine schulischen Leistungen sind mäßig. Er wird zu einer Psychologin geschickt. Sie testiert ihm Legasthenie. Er verliebt sich in sie. Da ist er immerhin schon acht. Die Welt um Christiaan verändert sich in atemberaubendem Tempo. Er ist elf, als die 68er auf die Barrikaden gehen. Der Vietnamkrieg, § 218, prüde Sexualmoral, die Emanzipation und die Pille, und bald Willy Brandts Ostpolitik bestimmten die Themen. Von alle dem versteht Christiaan nichts. Er kämpft mit der Unbill der Schule, seiner Abscheu vor der Miederwarenabteilung im örtlichen Kaufhaus, und damit ein Kind zu sein. Das alles muss ein Ende haben. Aber wie? Wenig später katapultieren ihn die gesellschaftlichen Umwälzungen aus seinen kindlichen Irrungen und pubertären Fantasien, hinein in eine stürmische Dekade. Ganz oben auf der Welle Veränderungen und den Verheißungen der 1970er Jahre rauscht er mit Neugier und Mut dahin. In der Schule überzeugt er weiterhin nur mäßig. Dafür bei den Mädchen, bald bei Frauen die älter sind als er. Schließlich überschlagen sich die Ereignisse: Erst verliert er seine erste große Liebe, dann den Überblick und schließlich den Anschluss. Eine Berufsausbildung glättet die Wogen. Er übernimmt Verantwortung, zunächst für die Ausbildung, später für Familie und Karriere. Bis alles anders kommt. Mit Anfang sechzig blickt Christiaan auf all das zurück und fragt sich, was noch vor ihm liegt, was er noch erwarten kann und erkennt spannende Chancen. Mehr unter: www.lebour.de
