Maren Sofia Rogers is from Loja, Ecuador and has been living in the United States since 2004. She writes to cleanse her soul, to make sense of the nonsense, to find a reason for her life experience. To let the voices that inhabit her speak. Woman, Latina, mother, wife, daughter, immigrant. She is deeply moved by the human drama, by the search without answers, by the pain, the injustice, the willingness to close our eyes and ears before the destruction of mother earth, of innocent souls. But, she also writes to let in the light, to give wings to hope, to learn to be, to feel, to live.
