About the Book

Imagine for just one moment that your body is designed to heal and will heal any common illness or chronic disease, given the right environment within the body. Could it be that we are misinformed when we hear that something is "incurable?" What if your body's ability to heal is greater than anyone has allowed you to believe? The Science of Epigenetics has been around since 2005 and it is now known that we are in full control of 95% of all illness and disease available to us - and this depends on the environment we keep in our bodies. Only 5% are a result of genes that are 'fully penetrant' - meaning that we do not hold the power to influence their 'expression' - or whether they are turned on or not. Every common illness and chronic disease is a result of an underlying root cause. This 'hidden health hazard' is sweeping across the Western world making everyone sick, without their knowing. Initially, it is actually a very healthy immune response. Without it, we would die. The challenge comes when it becomes a chronic situation. The body's intelligence tells us that this root cause exists in very clever ways - by displaying to us symptoms. Symptoms may be skin challenges like eczema or psoriasis, or asthma, or arthritis or gout, or digestive challenges, or pre-diabetes and type-2 diabetes. Maybe it's high blood pressure or cardiovascular disease or Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. The body is an intelligent system and presents to us symptoms communicating with us that change is necessary. These symptoms are often referred to as a genetic "disease" or an "illness." Maybe the less serious conditions from which people suffer, are actually warning signals to take action so something more serious is avoided - like cancer or cardiovascular disease? I suffered from eczema for the best part of 30 decades. I was always prescribed harmful steroid creams as a teenager that have left pigmentation on my skin. (Overuse of steroids can also result in topical steroid withdrawal syndrome when the skin has become dependent on steroids.) I was also prescribed antibiotics, which cause a lot of harm in the gut and immune system (as 70-80% of the immune system is located in and around the gut) as well as prescription moisturisers that contain all kinds of toxic chemicals - many of which have been proven to be carcinogens. Little did I know that eczema has a root cause. It is not a 'genetic disease.' I discovered this when I was researching the condition with which my father had been diagnosed a few years prior to his stroke; chronic inflammation. This first presented itself as asthma (chronic inflammation of the bronchial tubes), which led to high blood pressure and ultimately to a stroke. It was entirely avoidable and has caused much pain and suffering not only to him, but to my family. Sadly, his doctor was not educated in nutrition or how to help the body to heal, and prescribed medications that simply masked the underlying root cause, allowing it to worsen. It is now my mission to share with you how to reverse almost any common illness or chronic disease by paying attention to what is creating the symptoms. Western Medicine has no answer for common illness or chronic disease. Prescription drugs are phenomenal in emergencies. It is just our job to figure out what is creating the root cause, so it is reversed and symptoms disappear naturally. This is addressed holistically across 3 pillars of vitality: The physical, mental and emotional. Your body's ability to heal is greater than anyone has allowed you to believe. Free yourself of symptoms, pain and medication, by addressing the root cause, so you can life a life rich in vitality.
