Unweigerlich ist der Umgang mit Texten und Abbildungen vonnöten, um entsprechende Lernerfolge zu erzielen. Den Visualisierungen fällt hierbei eine besondere Rolle zu, da sie einerseits eine wichtige Ergänzung zu Texten darstellen, um die drei Aspekte der Lernwirksamkeit Verstehen, Behalten und Handeln zu fördern, auf der anderen Seite aber in der Schule vernachlässigt werden, was die Vermittlung von Strategien zur Auswertung angeht. Somit ist es besonders wichtig, das bereits von Seiten der Schulbuchautoren Visualisierungen in einer Weise eingebunden werden, dass sie den Lerner unterstützen und fördern, nicht etwa verunsichern oder gar behindern. Die vorliegende Seminararbeit setzt sich zum Ziel, nach einigen theoretischen und wissenschaftlichen Vorüberlegungen zum Einsatz von Abbildungen im Rahmen des Multimedia-Lernens das Standard-Lehrbuch in der Ausbildung zur/zum Bankkauffrau/-mann, "Wirtschaftslehre des Kreditwesens" (1998) von Wolfgang Grill und Hans Perczynski auf die entsprechende Umsetzung zu untersuchen und etwaige Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten zu erläutern. Der Verfasser der Arbeit hat hieran besonderes Interesse, da er selbst mal die Ausbildung zum Bankkaufmann durchlaufen hat und als Student der Wirtschaftspädagogik den Beruf des Berufsschullehrers anstrebt und hier auch konkretes Interesse an Bankauszubildenden hat.
