About the Book

Vision and Action
The Sacred Seal Story

When Clara Ikube, a former Major in the US Army Military Police Corps turned private detective, came across an old book with an intriguing seal in California, little did she know that it would kick-start an adventure of a lifetime. The seal turned out to be the National Sacred Seal of Vietnam, a priceless treasure lost for centuries. Enthralled by the mystery of the seal, Clara sets out on a journey to Vietnam to uncover its history and origins.
However, what Clara didn't anticipate was getting caught up in a war between two criminal gangs in Yokohama and Saigon. As she goes head to head with these criminals, she discovers the rich history and tradition of Vietnamese martial arts, the harrowing stories of boat-people, and how true martial artists survive in a corrupt society.
Just as she is about to board her flight back to Tokyo, Clara receives an email that changes her life forever. As she comes face to face with her enemy, the Scar Face, Clara realizes that her pursuit of the sacred seal has put her in grave danger.
"Vision and Action" is a tale of intrigue, adventure, and the resilience of a true martial artist in the face of adversity. Follow Clara as she sets out to uncover the hidden history of Vietnam and its treasures and finds herself entangled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse.About the author: Charles Phan Hoang, Ph.D.
