Inspiration struck veined accords as resonance body inside the depths of our essence, the heart of the human being. Thus sprang the words to life for this book; Flashback fragments yet not fragmental, gems of initiation, pearls of incredible hardship, diamonds of spectral future promise interwoven and laced into a hued tapestry of my life; A life with smirking eyes, meandering, gliding, gleaming, limping, leaping, stumbling, strolling, jumping, falling, flowing to a gateway - a schluesselerlebnis or exulting transition -: To be a poet or not to be! A poet unfolds tinted layers of fabric in her personal tales, embarks on mystical maritime voyages, swimming and soaring the soulscapes, holds worded sound marbles in cupped hands to transform them into colour-flooded stain glass tidings projecting poems, visibly under canvas. About the author: A cross-country voyage of a life in the tides of time enfolds. Beginning with crucial moments, vignettes, tales and flashbacks of a childhood in Harthausen, Pfalz (Rheinland-Pfalz), Southwest Germany, the author is excavating the past, adding fragments of dark depths and raised sparks, and thus navigating into the present, being at home in Cavan, Co, Cavan, Ireland. In a transition of life through a language gateway the Logbook to Poetry is a compass for a future in the churning waves of poetry. Perchance, peradventure, perhaps... the poetry was born of a reflective, imaginative colourful life as artist, teacher and writing seafarer. In retrospect is now visible what was intended all along, A lifetime voyage under full sails out to new endeavours: VISIBLY UNDER CANVAS - A Logbook to Poetry!
