About the Author: Chris Uzzi is the founder of Veterans Listening Post (VLP), a national veterans support organization and certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
Uzzi served in the Vietnam War, where he earned two Bronze Stars. He has also received a US Combat Infantryman Badge and a New York State Conspicuous Service award. His is a Certified Veterans Recovery Peer Specialist, attended the Wainwright Institute of Professional Coaching, and became a drug and alcohol treatment specialist through the Stratford Career Institute.
