AKAD Fachhochschule Stuttgart, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der jüngsten Vergangenheit veröffentlichte ein großer deutscher Automobilkonzern eine Erklärung, dass Abgastests durch das Unternehmen manipuliert worden seien. In dieser Erklärung wird verdeutlicht, dass das Vertrauen der Kunden das wichtigste Gut sei und alles darangesetzt werde, das verlorene Vertrauen wiederzugewinnen. Doch seit Bekanntwerden der Manipulationen rückt auch die Unternehmenskultur immer mehr in den Vordergrund. Der Betriebsratsvorsitzende des Konzerns fordert einen "grundlegenden Kulturwandel" und die offene Ansprache von Problemen. Aus Angst hätten sich Ingenieure des Unternehmens nicht getraut, die verfälschten Werte an ihre Führungskräfte weiterzugeben. Diese "Angstkultur" sei sogar eine der Ursachen für den sogenannten Abgas-Skandal. Anhand dieses Beispiels wird deutlich, dass fehlendes Vertrauen im Unternehmen durchaus "persönliche Ohnmacht" der Mitarbeiter und sogar "schädliche Auswirkungen auf ihre Organisation und deren Wirtschaftserfolg" zur Folge haben kann. Doch nicht nur der offensichtliche Schaden durch fehlendes Vertrauen spricht dafür, eine gut funktionierende Vertrauenskultur im Unternehmen zu implementieren. Vertrauen als Multiplikator für Veränderungsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter und als Basis für steigende Innovationsfähigkeit durch mehr Selbstvertrauen gilt mittlerweile als "Erfolgsfaktor" in einem Unternehmen. Ein Erfolgsfaktor, der angesichts der großen Herausforderungen wie der steigende Kosten- und Innovationsdruck sowie die Digitalisierung mit all ihren Veränderungen in der Organisation und Zusammenarbeit von großer Bedeutung sein wird. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, herauszufinden, welche Voraussetzungen für Vertrauen in Betrieben notwendig sind und wie eine Vertrauenskultur im nächsten Schritt nachhaltig im Unternehmen implementie
