Erziehung, Note: 1,0, Universität Hamburg (Institut für Weiterbildung e.V. an der Fakultät Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften der Universität Hamburg), Veranstaltung: Abschlussarbeit im berufsbegleitenden Kontaktstudiengang: Kultur-, Bildungs- und Medienmanagement, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Arbeit ist eine Zusammenstellung von Thesen zur Vermittlung naturwissenschaftlicher Bildung an Kindertagesstätten und - exemplarisch - von der praktischen Umsetzung in Niedersachsen. Zum Bildungsauftrag von Kindertageseinrichtungen gibt es auf politischer Ebene Forderungen und Zielsetzungen, auch zu den Naturwissenschaften. Die Entwicklung ist in den Bundesländern verschieden. Der "Orientierungsplan für Bildung und Erziehung im Elementarbereich niedersächsischer Tageseinrichtungen für Kinder" gibt den Erzieherinnen beim Naturforschen mit den Kindern relativ freie Hand. Die Literaturstudie gibt die Auseinandersetzung zwischen zwei pädagogischen Ansätzen wieder: Gisela Lück: Lehrgangsorientiert - lässt Kinder auf Grund vorgegebener Experimente nach Naturgesetzen forschen Donata Elschenbroich: Erfahrungsorientiert - lässt Kinder auf Grund ihrer Erfahrungen nach Experimenten suchen, die diese Erfahrungen naturgesetzlich erklären. Die Erzieherinnen, die sich an der Befragung beteiligt haben, sehen die Relevanz des frühen Naturforschens und fördern die Kinder. Die Kinder erhalten bei der Hälfte der Erzieherinnen mehrmals im Monat Gelegenheit zum Naturforschen. Die wünschenswerte Frequenz von mehrmaliger Naturforschung in der Woche praktizieren 21% der Erzieherinnen. Die pädagogischen Fachkräfte haben in ihrer naturwissenschaftlichen Bildungsbiographie überwiegend Biologie positiv, Chemie und Physik negativ erlebt. Die Erzieherinnen brauchen mehr Ideen für Versuche, 55% wünschen zur Vermittlung von Naturwissenschaften fachwissenschaftliche Unterstützung.
