Forschungsarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Berufserziehung, Berufsbildung, Weiterbildung, Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, Veranstaltung: Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Etwa seit Beginn des Jahrtausends werden Qualitätsmanagementsysteme in deutschen berufsbildenden Schulen verstärkt eingesetzt. Die Nutzung dieser Systeme ist eine direkte Folge der Diskussion um strukturelle Verbesserungen des Berufsbildungssystems. Unter dem Oberbegriff Regionale Kompetenzzentren wurden in der Folge dieser Diskussion Modellversuche durchgeführt, die eine strukturelle und organisatorische Entwicklung der Schulen zum Ziel hatten. Kern der Entwicklung der berufsbildenden Schulen zu Regionalen Kompetenzzentren war eine angestrebte Transformation der Schulen zu regionalen Dienstleistern. Gegenüber der bisherigen weitgehenden Abhängigkeit von der Schulverwaltung sollten sie auf diesem Reform-weg ein hohes Maß an Eigenverantwortung und Selbstständigkeit erhalten. In diesem Kontext sollen Qualitätsmanagementsysteme als Instrument der inneren Schulentwicklung sowie als Kontroll- und Steuerungsinstrument dienen. In Deutschland wurden vor allem die Qualitätsmanagementsysteme der European Foundation for Quality Management, das Modell Qualität durch Evaluation und Entwicklung, sowie das Qualitätsmanagementsystem ISO 9000 ff für den Einsatz in berufsbildenden Schulen diskutiert und erprobt. In Niedersachsen wurde in dem Schulversuch "Projekt Regionale Kompetenzzentren (ProReKo)" das Qualitätsmanagementsystem der European Foundation for Quality Management, kurz EFQM-Modell, zunächst an beteiligten Schulen eingeführt. Das EFQM-Modell war durch seine zentrale Rolle innerhalb des Schulversuchs in besonderem Maße dafür verantwortlich, die sogenannten Globalziele des Schulversuchs, (1) die Schulen zu regional- und kundenorientierten Dienstleistern zu entwickeln und (2) die Qualität der Arbeit der Schulen messbar zu verbessern, zu erreich
