Las palabras son el conducto para hacernos notar, al darnos su significación, y es cuando se convierte en una sublime trasformación de la realidad hacia la gran metáfora de la vida contenida en un universo poemario, tal como me reveló el autor.Cada verso nos transportará a ese estado flotante del alma que es la nostalgia, la saudade, con su ramillete de reminiscencias, tal como lo devela Gerardo Brauer, donde aquello que nos hizo feliz ya nunca será igual. Pero un verso de la magnitud del presente libro, y todos ellos lo contienen e irradian propia fuerza sin necesidad de la estrofa, es suficiente para hacer que nuestra alma flote.Aquello por lo que constituimos nuestro esfuerzo de vida y se logra, nunca más se repite aunque vivamos otros momentos intensos. Nuestra memoria se resiste a olvidarlo. Sólo cubre esos recuerdos con un velo. Los presentes versos develan cada uno de esos nostálgicos y sublimes momentos. Si el autor "ha revelado la bóveda celeste tras del velo del olvido," usted oirá "los acordes del recuerdo, los arpegios de la reminiscencia," porque siempre han rondado en su mente. Renacerá en "la odisea del ser que emprende la aventura del espíritu y empieza por descubrir ser olvido, no memoria." Recordará que seremos irremediable olvido por más que nuestra imagen esté plasmada en fotografías o vídeos pues, algún día, en un futuro lejano, nuestros herederos ya nada nos recordarán. "Olvido es mecerse en la amnesia de la muerte," como dice el autor. Un "socarrón secreto de ocultarse en el olvido, hasta para la muerte." El "olor del olvido lacera el alma, su sabor escalda la conciencia, verlo es perturbase hasta en sueños," nos expresa el autor, y pronto todos estaremos hacinados en el "limbo de la indolencia, madre de todos los olvidos." "¿Por qué la muerte no se lleva al olvidado?, porque alguien olvidó que debía nacer." No es nuestro caso, porque hemos de renacer en los versos pronto a leer por usted, y recordarnos que la existencia es un momento fortuito que despreció por causa nuestra a la inmensa nada. Pero llegará el momento en que al "entregar el cuerpo al nirvana, sólo "habrá un gramo de alma por una tonelada de soledad y un céntimo de absolución."Tomará conciencia de que fuimos prodigados de ese momento fortuito que nos inicia para afrontar un destino, y sabrá que los versos son la vía más inmediata para darnos cuenta que si el "augusto polvo se arropó de olvido, abofeteó a la muerte que rehuyó al duelo, para no vérselas con el olvido" el polvo no le será un destino, sino la consumación de una vida plena, placentera y plétora de vivencias. Sabrá que si "habrá muerto la carne, el alma altiva vuelo eleva.""Olvidar el pasado es abolir el futuro. Abolir el futuro olvidando el pasado es liarse en eterno y tedioso presente." Es entonces que, motivados por los versos del presente libro, usted "ensayará el ayer en el mañana y comprenderá que la soledad sin usted es inimaginable." El olvido no es necesariamente jamás ser recordado. Sólo si nos abandonamos en vida seremos abandonados por siempre y más allá de la muerte. "El abandono vence al fuego y al hielo a la vez y hace trizas la imagen en el espejo, quiebra el reflejo en el agua, derrite incontenible destello, disuelve insensible ausencia." Nunca la nuestra, si somos recordados siquiera por un pequeño verso. Recuerde que "la memoria no recuerda; hoy es si fue imaginado ayer; nunca sabrá en qué noche muy antigua quitó el velo del olvido y supo que el recuerdo es la reverberación, y la soledad: serena espera de nada, sin nadie que la espere."
