Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1, Universität Augsburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Begriff der "Vaterlosen Gesellschaft" ist fester Bestandteil der deutschen Literatur seit einigen Jahrzehnten. Er tauchte erstmals in Freuds "Totem und Tabu" im Jahr 1913 auf und wurde nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg zur Kampfparole junger Intellektueller, Schriftsteller und Künstler, die damit königlich-kaiserlichen Repräsentanten für die Grauen des Krieges anklagten. Aktuell wird die Debatte um die Vaterlosigkeit und die Vaterverwandlung in den Kontext der Krise der Familie gestellt. Dies führt zu einer Verschärfung der Debatte. Mit der "68er Bewegung" setzte durch die erstarkende Frauenbewegung ein fundamentales Umdenken ein, das bis heute zu neuen Vaterbildern und zu neuen Rollenverständnissen in der Familie führte. In kürzester Zeit sorgte der Kampf um die Gleichberechtigung der Frau für Veränderungen in den verfestigten patriarchalen Ordnungen in Familie, Gesellschaft und Politik. Im Zuge des damaligen Generationskonflikt und der Studentenrebellion kam es außerdem zur Thematisierung eines weiteren tabuisierten Themas: der Konflikt zwischen Vater und Tochter. Freuds Analyse des Vater-Sohn-Konflikts in der Ödipusgeschichte zielte in erster Linie auf die Identitätsbildung des Mannes ab. Erst später wurde diese auch auf das weibliche Geschlecht und dessen Identitätsentwicklung abgewandelt. Der selbstbewusste feministische Diskurs um die Vaterfigur spiegelt sich in zahlreichen "Vaterbüchern" der letzten 50 Jahre, in denen nun auch Töchter den Konflikt mit dem Vater beschreiben oder auf "Vatersuche" gehen. Vater-Tochter-Konzepte werden nicht mehr nur aus der Perspektive der heterosexuellen Beziehung diskutiert, sondern sie sind Teil des gegenwärtigen Generations- und Familien-Konflikts.
