About the Author: Lars Stigendal har i det närmaste 40 års erfarenhet av anställningar i olika statliga myndigheter. Han har arbetat med allt från strategisk styrning, verksamhetsutveckling och kvalitetsarbete till HR- och utbildningsfrågor. Lars har bland annat varit anställd en längre period vid Riksskatteverket samt vid Statens kvalitets- och kompetensråd (KKR) och Verket för förvaltningsutveckling (Verva). Han har också medverkat i olika projekt initierade av Regeringskansliet som rört styrning av statlig verksamhet. De senaste 10 åren har Lars främst gett kurser och hållit föreläs-ningar om styrning och utveckling av offentlig sektor. Därutöver har han medverkat i en del utredningar och utvärderingar. Han driver till-sammans med Siv Liedholm en utbildningsverksamhet riktad till statliga myndigheter, kommuner och landsting via www.effektivstyrning.se.
